چکیده

Purpose We investígated the effects of human-induced disruption in a subterranean stable environment containing valuable Palaeolithic paíntings and engravings (Ardales Cave, Southern Spain) using a double analytical approach. Methods An environmental monitoring system was installed in the cave to record temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide (C02) and radon e22Rn) concentrations in airo In the same stations, an aerobiological sampling was conducted to quantifY the level of airborne microorganisms. Results The combinatíon of different methods allowed us to detect the extent ofhuman-induced changes, confirnüng that these can be very hazardous in certain cave areas that should be apparently outside the scope ofhuman disturbances, either by their remoteness to the visitor entrance or by beíng briefly visited. Conclusions The detection of evident anomalies in the environmental parameters and airborne mícroorganism concentration in the cave area housing the high density of A. Fernandez-Cones ' S. Cuezva' S. Cytotoxic Effect of Iranian Vipera Lebetina snake Venom on HUVEC Cells

Objective: Envenomation by heamotoxic snakes constituted a critical health occurrence in the world. Bleeding is the most sever consequence following snake bite with viperid and crothalid snakes. It is believed that the degradation of vascular membrane caused hemorrhage; in contrast, some suggested that direct cytotoxicity has role in endothelial cell disturbances. This study was to evaluate the...

Design of PID Controller for Teleopration System with Genetic Algorithm

This paper presents a novel teleoperation controller for a nonlinear master–slave robotic system with constant time delay in communication channel. The proposed controller enables the teleoperation system to compensate human and environmental disturbances, while achieving master and slave position coordination in both free motion and contact situation. The current work basically extends the pas...

Inland wetlands mapping and vulnerability assessment using an integrated geographic information system and remote sensing techniques

The understanding of inland wetlands’ distribution and their level of vulnerability is important to enhance management and conservation efforts. The aim of the study was to map inland wetlands and assess their distribution pattern and vulnerability to natural and human disturbances such as climate change (temperature increase) and human activities by the year 2080. Inland wetland types i.e. for...
